We are currently searching for a Business Controller (m/f/d) based in Düsseldorf or Essen. This is a project- based role with a fixed term contract.

YOUR responsibilities as a Business Controller (m/f/d)

• Analyze complex business relationships utilizing advanced tools in controlling, statistics, and analytics
• Define, develop, and implement relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and standardized reporting mechanisms
• Create and deploy domain-specific solutions to address business needs
• Continuously enhance and evolve automation solutions for improved efficiency
• Provide consultancy and develop business cases using various methods
• Conduct specialized assessments and present analysis findings through clear visualizations

Requirements for YOUR new job as a Business Controller (m/f/d)

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Extensive experience in controlling, ideally coupled with a comprehensive understanding of the energy sector
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to present complex data in a clear and accessible manner
• Proactive mindset and ability to cooperate in cross-functional teams
• High level of personal accountability and resilience under pressure
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal); proficiency in additional languages is a plus
