Our client is a partner for electricity- and naturalgas in Germany and european countries.

For the location in Düesseldorf we are hiring a Business Controller (m/f/d) Renewables. This position is limited for a project assignment.

Your tasks:

• Act as business partner and counterparty for the Renewables team in order to drive performance
• Give recommendations for decision making via critically appraising projects, investments and contracts as well as performance measurement, business model & KPI setup
• Support ramp-up of OneTeam Renewables team with respective processes and tools
• Run reporting and analysis within MTP, Forecast and Actual processes
• Act as interface to Accounting, Tax, Finance and Risk teams
• Provide analysis on the effects of environmental changes (e.g. market conditions, regulation) on performance, assess threats and weaknesses

Your skills:

• Studies in Economics, Finance or Electrical Engineering
• Significant controlling expertise and substantial understanding of the energy business
• Experience in Renewables industry would be an advantage
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present data in a clear and easily understandable way
• Knowledge of Project evaluation tools and processes
• Proactiveness and ability to cooperate in a cross-functional environment; high personal responsibility and tolerance to stress
• Experience with modern Controlling tools like SQL database or Microsoft Power BI and SAP FI/CO
• Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of additional languages would be an advantage
