Your Tasks as an Operations Analyst (m/w/d)

• Executing Operations/ Back office activities for complex commercial contracts within the agreed terms and conditions with internal/ external counterparties
• Responsible for the front-to-end settlement operations on different contracts, including preparing and sending invoices, checking and processing invoices in SAP
• Analysing, investigating, uncovering and resolving discrepancies, settlement queries, process exceptions, and other operational finance incidents, as required.
• Monitoring open positions and coordinating the dunning process, to ensure the completeness of settlement and that delays and/or settlement failures are investigated and solved
• Collaborating and interacting with internal and/or external business partners, such as Front and Middle Office, third parties and aligning settlement results with downstream stakeholders, such as Risk, Business Controlling, Reporting and Accounting
• Ensuring validation and settlement is aligned with established procedures and daily, weekly and monthly controls are performed
• Supporting lean initiatives and projects for continuous process improvement

Your Qualifications

• Education in business-related fields: e.g. business administration, economics, finance, accounting or similar
• Strong analytical and numerate skills with ability to work to a high standard of accuracy, dependability and thoroughness
• Good IT knowledge in particular MS Excel and SAP, experience in energy data management desirable
• Ability to work on own initiative with little supervision and proven organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and take direction from or work with multiple parties
• Good verbal and written communication skills, strong customer orientation and ability to work effectively cross-functionally with different areas and hierarchy in the business
• Ability to generate new ideas and recognizes the need for change through new or modified approaches
• Strong team player, self-confident with good interpersonal skills and flexible attitude
• Very good knowledge of English; knowledge of additional languages would be advantageous
