Your Qualification as an Operations Analyst (m/f/d) Power Trading / Energy Industry

• Education in business administration, economics, banking or similar background
• Experience in the energy industry — particularly in the operational handling of complex power transactions on the German and British electricity markets
• Fluent written and spoken English; good German skills are a plus
• Desirable experience using SAP and Endur, as well as Microsoft Office, reporting, automation or data tools
• Strong settlement experience gained in Trading Operations, Back Office, commodity operations or a comparable operational environment, including settlement calculation, invoicing, reconciliation and dispute resolution
• Essential knowledge of German and UK power markets, with an understanding of the operational lifecycle of structured energy contracts
• Experience working with complex or structured power contracts
• Ability to interpret commercial contract terms and translate them into practical operational, settlement and control requirements
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and confidence working with high-value transactions, tight deadlines and complex data
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Front Office and cross-functional stakeholders in an international environment

Your Responsibilities as an Operations Analyst (m/f/d) Power Trading / Energy Industry

• Supporting the operational delivery of complex power transactions across the German and UK markets
• Help ensure that trades are validated, settlements are calculated accurately, invoices are processed on time, reconciliations are completed, and operational issues are resolved in a controlled and professional way
• Carry out Back Office activities for complex power contracts, including PPAs, BESS transactions and associated ancillary services
• Prepare, check and process complex settlements and invoices
• Perform deal verification, trade validation, data quality checks, contract interpretation support and operational set-up
• Investigate and resolve settlement queries, payment discrepancies, volume or price mismatches, process exceptions and operational incidents
• Maintain strong controls, evidence, documentation and KPI tracking
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate processes as PPA and BESS volumes continue to grow
• Support new product, system and change initiatives by providing operational input, testing support and front-to-end process expertise
