Our client is a partner for electricity- and naturalgas in Germany and european countries.

For the location in Düsseldorf we are looking for a Credit Risk Analyst (m/f/d). This position is temporary for a project assignment.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform the front-to-end rating process for customers and counterparties
• Analyze counterparties’ creditworthiness by using internal and external credit scoring models
• Analyze financial statements and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of corporates and financial institutions
• Update ratings on a regular and ad-hoc basis
• Keep abreast of market developments and assess their impact on the credit quality of counterparties
• Maintain counterparty credit limit data in the credit systems
• Maintain active business relationships with rating agencies and data providers and support the procurement team in license renewal processes

Your Qualification

• Education in business administration, economics, banking or similar background
• Experience in credit risk management and in the analysis of financial statements
• Experience within the energy industry is a plus
• Good knowledge of international accounting standards
• Structured, well organized and disciplined approach to work
• Good computer based skills, proficient in MS Excel or similar analytical tools
• Strong analytic skills
• Business fluent in English written and spoken; German language skills are a plus
